Você conhece Mark Mulcahy? Nem eu, mas diversos artistas se juntaram para uma coletânia beneficente de alto nível.
Mark é um músico que influenciou bastantes artistas. Nos anos 80, ele era o compositor da banda Miracle Legion, e chegou a lançar três discos solos. Infortunadamente, sua esposa veio a falecer no ano passado, e Mark passou a cuidar dos gêmeos de três anos que a família tinha. Mark precisa de ajuda.
Thom Yorke (Radiohead), Michael Stipe (R.E.M), The National, Dinasaur Jr e outros, montaram uma coletânea beneficente em prol do músico viúvo. A coletâne a se chama Ciao My Shining Star: The Songs of Mark Mulcahy, e contém canções de Mark num álbum com 21 músicas.
O lançamento está marcado para o dia 29 de setembro, via Shout! Factory, e o tracklist será:
